Our first day of Antarctic Science Camp begins with a hike to observe Elephant Seals! We follow Alexey and Natasha to one of the remote camera sites to change the batteries in the camera unit and to retrieve the memory card from the camera. On our return we see these incredible creatures enjoying the beach! Later we review the card to get a count of the Elephant seal population since the previous count.
