NORTH POLE 2007

Celebration time! The Pole at Last! Visitors enjoy a dance around the pole before a picnic on the ice and perhaps a dip in the icy cold arctic waters.

The icebreaker Yamal travels 2929 nautical miles from Murmansk to the North Pole and back to Mumansk. The entire trip is just under two weeks and on the return, sightseeing stops are made in the Franz Joseph Land Archipelago.

These images will appear in Virtual Reality format in the 360 World Atlas DVD Software, to be launched in the first quarter of 2008.
